Rev. Dr. Curtis W. Belle, Jr., husband of Diana Belle and father of Khadijah and Miya Belle, serves as the Pastor of the Clear View Baptist Church of Newark, NJ.
Prior to his assignment at Clear View Baptist Church, Dr. Belle served as Minister of Discipleship and Christian Education at the Community Baptist Church of Englewood, NJ.
Furthermore, Dr. Belle is the former Executive Director of Prison Fellowship Ministries, where he served as overseer of Ministry Delivery for the Northeast Region. As Executive Director, Dr. Belle was responsible for creating and implementing faith-based curriculums within state and local prison facilities.
In 2011 Dr. Belle received the Outstanding Volunteer Service Award for his work in ministry from the Bergen County Council of Churches. Likewise, Dr. Belle was a 2018 Newark South Ward Community Award recipient, which honors religious, education, and business leaders for their excellence in service to the City of Newark.
Also, Dr. Belle was selected by the General Baptist Convention of New Jersey Laymen’s Movement as the 2018 honoree of their Annual Pastoral Recognition Award for his dedication and commitment to ministry.
Dr. Belle possesses a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. In addition, he holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from the New Brunswick Theological Seminary with a concentration in Transformational Preaching.
Of his many gifts and talents, none are more meaningful and fulfilling to him than preaching and teaching. He has preached, lectured, and taught within various settings, including conferences, retreats, revivals, and college campuses. Finally, Dr. Belle seeks to fulfill his God-ordained assignment of transforming lives, minds, and communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ as he equips disciples to make disciples.
